Archeiothiki participated as a sponsor at the 9th Insurtech Conference, held on 29 January 2026 at the Ethniki Asfalistiki Conference Centre, contributing to the industry dialogue on the evolving intersection of insurance, innovation, technology, and regulation.
During the conference, Vangelis Karelis, Chief Technology & Information Officer at Archeiothiki, delivered a presentation focused on how LLM-powered Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions are disrupting traditional insurance operations and enabling a decisive shift toward end-to-end process automation.
In his opening remarks, Vangelis highlighted that 2025 marked a year of accelerated AI adoption across the insurance sector, driven by the need for operational efficiency, scalability, and data reliability. He emphasized that Intelligent Document Processing plays a foundational role in this transformation by fully automating the capture and integration of information from unstructured sources.
“IDP solutions automate the initial capture and integration of data, transforming content into structured inputs for systems such as ERPs, Document Management Systems, CRMs, and core insurance platforms,” he noted.
A key focus of the presentation was the importance of ensuring that extracted data are not only accurate, but also seamlessly transferable and usable across broader organizational workflows. In this context, Vangelis made special reference to Archeiothiki’s proprietary platform, AI Flows, which was introduced to the Greek market in 2024.
With over six years of experience in AI-powered Intelligent Document Processing, Archeiothiki designed AI Flows as an orchestration layer for enterprise workflows, supporting document, image, and audio processing. The platform combines Archeiothiki’s specialized AI models with access to trusted third-party models, enabling flexible and scalable automation across complex environments.
“Through AI Flows, we deliver IDP services that already generate tangible business outcomes across multiple industries, including the insurance sector,” Vangelis explained.
During the session, four core insurance processes were highlighted where Archeiothiki’s IDP solutions have delivered substantial operational acceleration while maintaining consistently high accuracy:
- Processing national health insurance claims
- Automating complex partner payments in auto insurance (including lawyers and negotiators)
- Streamlining customer service through speech-to-text and automated data capture
- Supporting underwriting decision-making with structured, actionable data
Archeiothiki’s presence at the 9th Insurtech Conference reaffirmed its commitment to supporting insurers in their digital transformation journey, demonstrating how advanced AI technologies can serve as the first critical step toward holistic, enterprise-wide automation.
