At ARCHEIOTHIKI, we are looking for an IT Systems & Database Administrator to join our team and support the smooth and secure operation of our systems and databases.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, while also contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and backup infrastructure
- Administer database environments, including configuration, monitoring, backup, restore, patching, and maintenance (SQL Server and other enterprise database platforms)Monitoring system performance and ensuring reliability and availability
- Supporting backup and recovery processes
- Safeguarding data integrity and security
- Perform SQL query tuning, indexing, and performance optimization in collaboration with application and infrastructure teams
- Contributing to the maintenance and improvement of IT infrastructure
- Collaborating with internal teams on projects and system enhancements
- Maintain technical documentation and apply IT operational and security best practices
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience in Systems or Database Administration
- In-depth knowledge of SQL and database management
- Solid experience with Windows Server, Virtualization, Enterprise storage and backup solutions
- A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Team spirit and willingness to learn and grow
Nice to have:
- Working knowledge of Linux systems
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Relevant certifications
